As I promised, I’ll continue the brief list of episodes from Kodoku No Gurume season 1 ..This is from episode 7 until episode 12 - the last episode. The drama is getting better..Goro’s getting mooore hungrier..From the list, I love episode 8, where Goro continue his battle till the 2nd round..hell yeah! The tastier the dish, the hungrier he will..Of course, the most epic (most dishes he ate..hehe) episode would be the last one. 1 drink, 4 main menu plus 1 dessert, would make everybody stomach goes fulled..Well then, let’s start!!

Kodoku No Gurume (孤独のグルメ) ; The Solitary Gourmet ~Season 1~ (2012) (Part 1)

 

A 12-episodes drama based on the manga written by Qusumi Masayuki and Taniguchi Jiro. Broadcasted by TV Tokyo from January 4th, 2012 until March 21st, 2012. The main character is Goro Inogashira (Matsushige Yutaka), a man who privately runs an imported dry goods business. 

When it’s already lunch time, he’ll search for a good food. Actually, I love the way he eat. He made everything he ate looks so damn delicious..You should watch it! And what makes it more better, the shops that appear in it are all real shops.
My favorite scene --> when his ‘hungry-mode’ is on, the camera will zoom out on him..Dongg!!

After the IDO Tour, starting from October 12th until November 22nd 2012, SCANDAL will held a nationwide hall tours in Japan. Here's the places and the date:

Guns N' Roses going to rock Jakarta!

After failed reunion on Rock N' Roll Hall of Fame of 2012, I didn't hear anything refreshing from Guns N' Roses. But..Just few nights ago, I heard something unbelievable from our local TV. Axl Rose & Friends, oops..I mean, Guns N' Roses will perform in Indonesia! They will held the concert on December 15th, 2012 !.. Oh man, a die hard fans will surely come to this concert! The Most Dangerous Band In The World still alive!..I still remember that title though..are you? hehe..

With the latest line-up that consist of W. Axl Rose (vocals, of course) DJ Ashba (guitar), Richard Fortus (guitar), Ron “Bumblefoot” Thal (guitar), Tommy Stinson (bass), Dizzy Reed (keyboard), Chris Pitman (keyboard), and Frank Ferrer (drummer). ..I'd say that Axl Rose and Friends, oops again~I mean Guns N' Roses, has changed..totally changed! I saw their live video on YT playing Welcome The Jungle, Sweet Child O' Mine etc..Well, I didn't meant to disrespect the latest member skills, though they use 3 guitars, but I didn't feel any 'soul' on those songs..If you know what I mean..It's like they played to accompanied Axl, not to play with him..You got it? Dunno what latest fans think about them..But, I heard that Axl's habit to delay the concert still on..

SCANDAL Special Live in Malaysia 2012

Hi, long time no see!..I'm going to update more information about SCANDAL. As you already know, SCANDAL will have another show in South East Asia after Queens Are Trumps Hall Tour 2012 ends. And the lucky country is Malaysia! The show will be entitled as 'SCANDAL Special Live in Malaysia 2012' and will be held on December 1st 2012 at KL Live - Concert Hall! The concert starts at 08.00 PM (local time).

The concert is part of their promotions tour for 'Queens Are Trumps~Kirifuda Wa Queen~' album which also will be launched by Sony Music Malaysia on the 1st week of November 2012.
The Concert is also in line with the 30th Anniversary of Look East Policy between Japan & Malaysia. The event is organized by INEXNINE COMMUNICATIONS SDN BHD.

 An instrumental rock band from Osaka. Consist of Seiji (guitar), Yuki (guitar), Shimataro (bass) and Chiiko (drums)..

Maximum The Hormone

マキシマムザホルモン

Nao Kawakita - drums, Ryo Kawakita (Maximum The Ryo) – guitar & vocals, Daisuke Han (Daisuke Tsuda) - vocals, Uehara Futoshi (Ue-chan) – bass &vocals, are Japanese hardcore band from Hachiouji, Tokyo. I kinda confused to determine which music genre they’re playing..? They mix the punk, funk, hardcore, metal into one..I mean, they didn’t put the metal riff only on their music, which most of nu-metal or hardcore band always playing around with. 

I discovered them cause I kinda curious when Rina of SCANDAL said that one of her favorite track is Maximum The Hormone’s Zetsubou Billy, and she’s also one of Nao’s fans. She really adore on how Nao play her drums, well, I think Rina really did her homework as a drummer, and heard lots of stuff, considering SCANDAL and MTH play different music.

After looking around for some detail on their gears, finally I could add some info of SCANDAL new guitars + Tomomi's Fender Coronado. Enjoy!..v^_^ 

Squier Jazz Bass “Tomomi Model”(Blue+Stripe Line), nickname: Brutus.

Tomomi original model bass was introduced on Nihon Budokan live concert in March 28th2012. It was made with the certain visual, weight and sound so it could produce a sound between Jazz-Bass and Precision Bass. It’s equipped with ’62 vintage model pickup. Body from ashwood, mapleneck and rosewood fretboard. Ash characteristic pushing out the strong and tight sound of the bass. While Yuusuke-kun is an active bass type, this one is a normal passive type. The distinctive bass body part, produce a good sound. There’s 3 control knobs consist of front volume, rear volume, and tone.

Fender Telecaster Thinline Deluxe Classic Player Series

Fender Tele Thinline, with a semi-hollow body, and classic looks catch my attention since Haruna Ono of SCANDAL use it as one of her instrument. The sounds, the looks that lil' bit different than the standard Tele kinda make me curious. So, here's the details of the guitars.

The Drummer Heroes!

      The drummer, is the guardian of the beat, the heartbeat of the band. Along with bass, both of them has significant role to maintain the beat of the song, and keeper of the rhythm. They keep the beat up, while the guitar doing solo, or emphasized the riff of the song with their strike on the snare, bass, toms or on the hihats, crash, and splash cymbals. 

      Though their position is in the back, but their sounds would catch our ears immediately. They responsible to make a song recognizable.Through their speed-play with double bass pedals or swing/sway around on melancholic song. Here's my lists of favorite drummers along the time..enjoy!

#Mike Portnoy, (Michael Stephen Portnoy born April 20th, 1967 in Long Beach, Long Island, New York). The household name for progressive rock drummer, Mike Portnoy. Known as a drummer with an oddtime signature drum play and technical skill above the average. Founder of Dream Theater, Liquid Tension Experiment. My favorite track from Portnoy is Dream Theater’s Dance Of Eternity. Various fill-in, oddtime signature, intense play, power and everything else on it. As John Petrucci said, if a drummer could play Dance of Eternity, they would be able to play any kind of music genre. After his departure from Dream Theater, he play along with the other musicians such as Russell Allen, Mike Orlando, Rich Ward and Paul DiLeo titled Adrenaline Mob. He also replaced Stone Sour drummer, Roy Mayorga, during Rock In Rio on September 14th, 2011. He even had a jamming sessions with Paul Gilbert, Neal Morse, Matt Bissonette, Daniel Gildenlöw, Dave LaRue, Sean Malone, Jason McMaster, Billy Sheehan, Gary Cherone, and Kasim Sulton in several tribute performances to The Beatles, Led Zeppelin, Rush and The Who from 2003 to 2011.

After reviewed few of my favorite bassist, now it's time for my favorite guitarist..No rank was used on my review..They came from various music genre, but most of them is rock guitarist, one from blues, and one from jazz. They became my favorite cause they brought many breakthrough on their music, or on their instrument. Including also the skills, the original style, and the sounds that they brought on their guitars that made them my favorites. And the music composing skills they had, brought me into another realm, across the universe, and made me enjoying each note they plucked..Hope you enjoy it too!..v^_^..

The Bass Heroes of Mine

There are 4 bass players that I admire since my high school and during my university. Most of them are jazz player, only one of them is rock player. Well, I more into jazz than rock, if it comes to bass player. The range, notes, and mostly improvisation style that leads me more into jazz. Slap and funky bass play that became  the best point that makes bass more interesting, for me came out from jazz player..But rock still flowing through my blood..lol.
So, here's goes nothing..!

The Fender Telecaster..! Here's a lil' intro, to my friends who loves Blacktop Telecaster HH..

That's a lil bit introduction from few of many Telecaster lineup, so let's start the story!..
Hajimeeee~~~!!!!!!

When I still was a child, I was surrounded by many musical influences..Such as Kiss, Stryper, The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, new wave, and everything that was popular and introduced to me during my childhood. I have watched many video clips during that day, and opened my eyes a lot on music. One of them that attract me is The Rolling Stones, and later I found out that their guitarist is Keith Richards. I amazed when I see he played his guitar sooo freely, so attractive with his body move..That’s a true show for me..

But later, I was too busy in school, and afterward..The music interest start to grow up again..The Rolling Stones came back to strike again with Bridges To Babylon albums..And I still found the same style of Keith Richards, and look it up for more into his guitar..what’s that? That guitar looks so simple, with two pickups, tone, volume knobs, and switch..that’s it. Looks too plain..but how he could play it with so much fun?..I search more and more..and I found that name, Telecaster..Fender Telecaster!

Sebenarnya gw udah tau sih, tapi agak telat ngeh. Bisa diliat di video mereka di RedHot TV di belakang panggung ketika mereka sedang berada di Nakano Sun Plaza yang merupakan konser penutup mereka dalam rangkaian tur Virgin Hall.
